My photography is rooted in my love of travel. During my first trip to Africa in 1995, I was struck by the wonder of nature. I learned on that trip the peace and serenity that comes to me in the midst of such beauty. My goal is to capture that spirit in my images.

I have traveled to all seven continents to photograph foreign locales, nature, landscapes and wildlife. My true love is Africa. I’ve taken seven photo safaris there, including a trek to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro. After that, I spent time in Nepal trekking to Mount Everest base camp. Other grand adventures include crossing the Drake passage to photograph in Antarctica and cruising the Galapagos Islands.
